Arosa is an attractive village and one of the highest resorts in Switzerland, situated at 1,800m. It is reached by a truly scenic train journey - the Arosa Line - which offers beautiful views as it travels up from Chur and across the famous Langwieser Viaduct. In the resort, the Poststrasse with its variety of shops and restaurants snakes up from Lake Obersee to Innerarosa, where you will find the 15th century chapel is well worth a visit. At the Untersee lido, you can experience swimming in a pure mountain lake or you may like to try the good choice of watersports, a round of golf or the rope park. You can always take a leisurely walk along some of the area's trails - there are over 300km of these paths meandering through the stunning alpine landscape of high Alps, lush green meadows and crystal clear mountain lakes. Hotel guests benefit from the FREE Arosa All-Inclusive Card during the summer months, allowing you to fully explore the local mountains.
Lenzerheide is a neighbouring alpine resort, which lies on the other side of the mountains and has close links with Arosa. During mid summer you can travel across the peaks via a series of linked cable cars and enjoy a day out in the sunny area around Lake Heid.
