Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe - an unforgettable experience with a vantage point at 3,571m over the Aletsch Glacier and Jungfrau massif.

Brienzer Rothorn - this steam train has been chugging its way between Brienz and the Rothorn since 1892.

Les Rochers-de-Naye

Centovalli Line to Domodossola - a two hour journey each way that takes you on one of the region's most scenic rail trips to Domodossola (in Italy) via tiny villages, clear waterfalls and vineyards. Time for an Italian lunch before your return visit.

Valais (including Zermatt, Saas-Fee & Brig) Aletsch Glacier

Gornergrat - travel on the cog railway and enjoy beautiful views of Zermatt - you might even spot some mountain wildlife. 
Klein Matterhorn - the highest cableway in Europe transports you to an alpine world, with various stops en route for walking or mountain lunches.
Aletsch Glacier - close to Brig are the southern slopes of the Glacier. The viewing points along the river of ice and the scenic walking trails are fantastic.

Piz Nair & Corviglia - starts from St. Moritz where you join the funicular to Corviglia before taking the cable car to the station of Piz Nair. From the terrace at Piz Nair you can enjoy a stunning view down the Upper Engadin mountains and its lakes. Allow time to relax over a drink or mountain lunch at the restaurants at either Corviglia or Piz Nair.

Wasserauen and the Ebenalp - take the rail and cable car journey to this beauty spot. The Wildkirchli cave chapel, which appears to claw dramatically to the rock, and the spectacular Aescher hostelry can then be reached on foot.
Rhine Falls - the largest waterfall in Europe is at its most powerful in June/July. You can stand on platforms which jut out over the Rhine; the castles of Laufen and Worth can be reached by boat.

Some mountain railways and cable cars may only be available Dec-Mar and Jun-Oct. Other mountains and lake cruises are available year round, with a reduced timetable in the winter. All excursions are subject to weather conditions.
