Highlights

Journey to the mountain

From Klosters Dorf, the distinctive blue cable car whisks you to the Madrisa mountain in just a few minutes. During your ride you will have beautiful views over the unforgettable landscape.

The top station is at 1,887m and on arrival a whole day of activities awaits you.

Refreshments

Try the Madrisa Mia pizzeria at the valley station. The Madrisa Hof and Madrisa Alp restaurants at the top station, close to MadrisaLand, offer lovely views while you enjoy your meal.

There are some beautiful picnic spots to enjoy during your stay on the mountain. If you would like to use one of the barbecue pits, try the 30 minute walk from the top station, along the easy trail to the waterfall located between Untersäss and Mässplatten.

Walking

There are several delightful walking trails to follow from the top station. You could walk back down to Klosters, or head up higher into the mountains. There are themed paths to enjoy such as a nature trail and a herb path.

The Kneipp path at 1,887m is free to use and features detailed information as you progress. The Kneipp facility is located at Saaseralp and consists of various natural materials situated around the lake, which you explore with your bare feet. Stone, gravel, wood, moor, pine cones and water all serve to sharpen the senses.

Adventure mountain

Up here at 1,887m, you can try your hand at 3D archery, where you use your bow and arrows to target 28 animal models along a trail. Or why not try the freeride scooters, taking the route from the mountain station to Saas, with a vertical height difference of 900m. The thrilling descent takes about 45 minutes.

Hire for both activities is available at the cable car station and is payable locally.

Madrisaland

A great place to bring the family, Madrisaland is steeped in myths, legends and local folklore. There are plenty of activities for little ones, with physical and mental challenges and plenty of fun.

The animal park is a delight, where you can pet some animals and watch others in their natural habitat.

With your Davos Klosters hotel you have free entry to Madrisaland. Activities such as pony rides and the Flying Fox are extra.
