Your onward transfers in Switzerland

Sit back and relax en route to the resort

There is little point in having a reliable and comfortable flight without an equally comfortable journey from the airport to your holiday resort.

Your onward journey by train offers comfort, room to move around and the opportunity for refreshments. Swiss Federal Railways are amongst the most efficient in the world and operate with the precision of a Swiss watch!

Some alpine resorts such as Mürren and Saas-Fee do not have rail links into the village, so we'll arrange rail transfers to the nearest town and last part of the journey will be via the famous yellow PostBus or by cable car. We will be able to advise you on the precise details, and will send you a written, personalised travel itinerary around 2 weeks before your holiday.

Transfer to your resort

Your itinerary will show your recommended onward train times and we'll even tell you which platform to head for!

Arriving by air

There are railway stations situated within the Zurich and Geneva airport terminals, making your transfer extremely easy and efficient. For most resorts, there is a train departing from the airport every hour – so no waiting around.

Arriving by rail

For those arriving into Switzerland by international rail, you will find easy connections departing from the station into which you arrive (Geneva, Basel, Zurich and Bern).

Transfer to your hotel

On arrival at many resorts, you will be met by the hotel’s porter and transferred to your hotel. However, some village hotels are very close to the village station and you will be able to walk the short distance.

In larger towns the stations will have official taxi ranks for you to use.

The personalised itinerary sent to you with your tickets will detail full information for your particular journey.
